I cut a partially frozen turkey in half today, using a saw that we just happened to have around the house. In the old days, the butcher would do this for me. Now, they tell me that they can't do it. A whole turkey is too large for us unless we are having
company and since I only wanted to have a turkey because 1. we like turkey ,2. it was priced right, 3. love the smell of roasting turkey and 4. it makes great sandwiches. I have no idea why we have this almost new saw . I keep it safe on a shelf, in our bedroom
closet. I'm always afraid that it will accidentally fall when I am rearranging things on the shelf. I don't think that we have ever used it. That is why I felt that it was OK to use it to saw a partially frozen turkey in half. Now I will put it in the dishwasher
to make sure it has no poultry germs on it and then, put it back where I found it.Then I will relive our past 10 years here and try to remember why in the world would we have a saw? If anyone wants to borrow it, just let me know.It works great on half
frozen turkeys.
