A funny thing happened on the way to.....in our case standing in line to get cafe au laut and beignets,in the French Quarter, in New Orleans. A young woman, in front of us,was studying a tourist brochure. A Grandson looked over her shoulder, made a
comment and in a second ,it was Buffalo Grove, Illinois to Oak Park ,Illinois Jewish geography. Jews have a way of knowing a fellow traveler.How is that. In 20 seconds we bonded. Her Dad in BG was tracking her on GPS. We should have thought to ask to speak
to him.. That would have been hilarious.Us in line, he in his home in Buffalo Grove,his daughter ,in New Orleans,talking to strangers in a coffee line, all with pretty much a history that binds us together. Now that is Besherit (meant to be).
