OK Cubs. It has to be tonight or else that is it until next year for you guys. People complain that watching baseball is like watching paint dry. I find it very soothing. I can watch a few innings, fall asleep and when I wake up, it's just a few
innings played. I really haven't missed too much. There is a lot of standing around. The cameras scan the crowd to see if anyone looks bored, or is playing a video game .When they are playing in Chicago, I look to see if I can recognize anyone in the crowd.
I never have, but I look. There are no better fans than a Cubby fan. Who else would sit in the rain, waiting for a rain delay. They do not go home early. I can keep score in baseball. A home run is worth one point. Period. In football ,you can score
6 points, 7 points, three points and maybe two points for an extra point after a home run ,if you choose to run the ball and not kick it. (Are you following me?) I have never figured out how to keep score in tennis. I tried , but it doesn't make sense. Love,
what in the heck is that when you are playing tennis. And all of the grunting is distracting. The worse thing about baseball is the spitting and the big wads of gum that has replaced chewing tobacco. I do love the traditions of baseball. The 7th inning stretch
and in Chicago we sing "Take me out to the ball game". How special is that. I don't know if other teams do this, but if a ball goes into the stand from a visiting team, we throw it back. And baseball is not a contact sport. What's not to like .Good clean fun
played by grown men who have exceptional eye hand coordination and can hit a little ball. And they get paid for it. Go figure.(Cubs won)
