The Cubs were doing better when they had a rain delayed and before they rescheduled the game. They are supposed to be the boys of summer and here they played in the cold and rain and wind. And they lost. Big time. I have a theory about winning
three out of five games. I am not accusing anyone of not playing their best, because it would have been in the Cubs best interest to win game three at home, go home, take a hot shower and wait for the series to start. But here is my theory, if they win in
the first three games, the network loses advertising dollars. period. So it is good business to play all five games. That's my theory and I haven't been shown differently in these champion type three out of five games. But we faithfully watched the
4 hour game, even eating a slice of reheated pizza as we watched the ninth inning, knowing that with the score 5 to zip, they had no chance. A Cub fan is a Die hard Cub fan .There are a lot of us around. Just saying.
