ON THE BACK BURNER

The cousins, our Grandsons ,are working on finding a period when we can all go to N.O. on a road trip. That means that between 5 and 7 people have to coordinate schedules. That is not easy. We have already narrowed down two possibilities. Now , everyone has to agree. It's like working with a committee. Only we are family, so it should be better. We are used to traveling together. One of our trips to Colorado had 3 adults , two young kids, and two small dogs ..in a Neon. It was crowded but fun. Another trip to Colorado, we went bigger ,with a mini van,two kids, two dogs and two adults . The only problem for the drivers was that we had a small TV in the back and "101 Dalmatians " played for over 900 miles . I never did see it, but I sure know the dialogue. We've driven our Grandsons from Chicago to Colorado, Chicago to Gulfport, Mississippi, Chicago to Michigan, Mississippi to Louisiana. I'm not going to mention the trip we took them on to Mexico. That was a blast. But what happens in Mexico, stays in Mexico.
