ON THE BACK BURNER

I thought that I was doing a favor for our senior dog, Noodle, and get him a companion dog. The person who found Noodle for me, drove the 50 or so miles to bring me another really sweet 7 to 10 year old, small dog. It did not click. Noodle and this little guy had no interaction. In fact, Noodle growled, which is the second time that I heard him do this. The dogs showed their displeasure in my attempt to make them buddies , by Noodle peeing in the living room and the other dog, pooping in our bedroom. I could see that this wasn't going to work. After the dog left, and he will be adopted, Noodle ignored my advances. I do believe he is angry with me. I will think of something to get back in his good graces. Since I am Jewish, it will involve food. What else would I think of.
