I was the first class of nurses to take their boards on a computer. I spent weeks going to a computer lab, going over questions and answers .This was before I was comfortable with the internet. The way the test worked was that you had to answer a percentage
of the questions correctly. When you reached that percentage, you were finished, the computer turned off. Either you passed or not. I answered the questions and then my test was over. I felt as if I should have had more questions to answer. I knew a lot more
answers. I was afraid that I failed since the test seemed to be over too quickly. I didn't know that I had passed until I got a confirmation note. I think most of my class passed. I have come a long way since that experience. I can get onto the internet, I
can email. I am so sophisticated . However, I still need a Grandkid to help me with the finer things on my computer. Like how to copy and paste and make a folder and move stuff around. Not only is it a joy to have Grandchildren, but they grow so smart these
days.
