A couple of weeks ago I wrote an article for our local paper about what happens at a Jewish funeral, how we mourn and how we bury . It was a guide for people who may not have gone to a Jewish funeral before. I wrote it because we have had a lot
of deaths in our small Jewish community lately. Now, I hope we experience no more for a long time. We need time to heal ourselves. We live in a paradise here. Our weather is great, we don't slip on snow. We don't have frozen water pipes. Life is good. We should
remember this . I'm going to take a deep breath, look around at all that I have to be thankful for and look forward to a bright , sunny, humid day tomorrow. Sounds like a plan.
