I would like to be known as a renaissance woman. I don't want to be known by one interest only. Or one talent. I haven't had time to develop my hidden talents, but as soon as I have more time, I will. I will also have to take some time to think about
what potential talents are in me. I''ve had dance lessons, music lessons, worked with a personal trainer, taken language classes, accounting classes, sewing classes, knitting classes ,drawing classes and pottery classes and worked with a running coach. And
swimming classes. I almost forgot that one. I can say that I am not that special in any of them. But I don't care. It's the fun and challenge of doing ,that I like. Is this a definition of a renaissance person? Do you have to be good at a task to take it on.
I've never thought so. I am going to sit down one day and concentrate on what one thing that I do well and then work at that. Until that day comes, I'm going to try whatever comes along and catches my fancy. Belly dancing, maybe ?
