I think my quest for a rescue dog may be coming to an end. I have been in a funky state since Cricket died. My search has been very traumatic. To be told that we are too old to have a middle age or young dog , was devastating. Truth be told, I could
probably run rings around the women who told me we were too old. Our condo was given a home visit. I had to list who would take our dog if something happened to us.I had to tell my neighbors to look in on us in case we dropped dead over night and the dog was
unattended.It was a depressing ordeal. I understand why they ask theses questions and why they don't want these rescued dogs to have to be rescued again, but ,it was hard on us. So today, we get to visit with what may be our new member of the family. I hope
he likes us. He is a Shih Tzu/Maltese, 12 pounder. 10 years old. We will have to change his name from Nodia. Like noodle or Kugel. Any suggestions?
