I see that my CVS drug store is offering a free delivery service for prescriptions. Isn't this a step backwards. Or is it so forward that the newbies on the block think it is new? And I wonder, since drug stores now sell food, cleaning supplies ,pet
food ,cosmetics and small appliances, will they deliver these to me too if I ask. When we first moved to Chicago, I often asked the corner drug store to pick up a loaf of bread and a quart of milk at their next door neighbor food store and then deliver it
to me. They always did. I tipped the kid who delivered it, the bill was charged to my account and at the end of the month, I paid them. Life was so simple. Now with CVS delivering, is life going back to those simple times. There's a lot good to be said about
going backwards sometimes. You know what I mean ?
