Will this be the year that a hurricane hits our southwestern shore. The weather forecasters on TV are so excited about it finally be June and the start of hurricane season. I hope that their enthusiasm is short lived. I have already had enough of their
dire predictions.Every time i send in a check to Citizens Insurance, I am reminded that we are vulnerable. Fortunately, we are not on a flood plain. We are more in a wind situation. I am not even sure that our insurance would pay us for damages, there are
so many disclaimers in the policy.I have it because our association demands it. I have heard that some residents here have let this requirement go by the wayside, but I play by the rules.I read some where that an emotion only last about seven seconds. That
is just long enough for me to write a check for the insurance company..
