Am I getting old and crotchety? Restaurants are so noisy lately. The quietest place to eat is at home. The restaurants have high ceilings, exposed brick, funny looking unattractive pipes and tables close together. Why is this. I hear the next tables
conversation which is sometimes more interesting then my tables conversation. I'd like to join in. I feel the same way about cell phone conversations that are public, at least on one side.. The side that i hear. I see people out for their morning walk with
a cell phone to their ear. I can only assume that they are very important people and have a need to be close to their phone in case they are asked to perform some serious task. I usually spend my morning walk time with Cricket looking for that Cardinal that
follows us. I almost always can find him. Someone sent me some info on Cardinals being the soul of a person no longer here. I'm not sure that I believe in souls, but I like the idea of having a Cardinal around the neighborhood. It's good for property values.
