Bob is pretty easy. Eats just about everything. Not fussy about who he is with. Agreeable to go the library or grocery store with me. He is not noisy, he's reasonably neat and pretty much house trained. The BIG BUT is shoes. He is terrible to shop with
for shoes. He wears the same shoe, day in, day out, dress up or casual. Same shoe. In fact, he wears the same style and model for the last 3 pairs. Trouble comes when the shoe company no longer makes that style/model.The shoes that he tries on are: too loose
in the heel, to tight in width, too long, too short,too this, too that. After the third shoe store in Venice, which included a local department store, a national chain discount store, a local private shoe store, I gave up and went to the internet. Fortunately,
I found that Macy's carried THE shoe. A trip to Sarasota to Macy'e found the shoe. A floor model. With a friendly salesperson, we bought the shoes . What a relief. I considered getting two pair, but that would mean placing a special order and not getting the
discounts. So I guess in a few years, I'll have to do this all over again. It could be worse.
