I'm going along with a friend on the idea of having a musical soiree ,next week. Everyone is willing to put out their best effort. We go from having taken lessons for 24 weeks to being a professional ,with credentials , musician. Two of us never played
before starting on this musical adventure. Not being able to read music, to being able to make music on a few strings. Two play in orchestras. One is first chair. One is concert master. Ten of us are enthusiastic.One is a teacher of ours. All of us hope we
sound good. A few of us picked up our instruments after a long break from playing. All of us want to do our best. All of us know that we are among friends and we will appreciate our efforts and be forgiving for the missed timing, missed note, or wrong key
.We will be among friends and having a great time. It should be a fun evening.
