I am fascinated with gecko's. In New Orleans we had chameleons and lizards. I don't know if all three are the same thing.I think they are related. My chameleons in N.O. Changed color as they moved to different surfaces. These Florida gecko's that we
have around our condo are recognizable by their striping and by their tails. Some have really thick tails that almost look as if they were supposed to be a snake, but changed their minds half way through development. Then the pattern stripes are different
in different gecko's. I even notice some that have short tails, like they got caught in a screen door. They all look prehistoric. Maybe they are dinosaurs that shrunk. I can tell when a bunch have been birthed. There are these tiny little things running all
over the place. I suspect the life cycle of these little guys can be very short. Who are their predators. Not me. I have found skeletons of these little things in our house. If I see one in the house, I have learned how to catch them without killing them and
taking them outside. Those buggers sure can move fast. For your information.. Cricket isn't even interested in them.
