I went to a restaurant that is a favorite of "ladies do lunch". Actually, I like the motorcycle hang out that serves Chicago style Italian Beef and has posters of Cubs Field , better. I like to look at that poster. It is a shot taken when the Cubs started
playing night games. Also, I can see the high rise that we lived in. Our 38th floor unit was on the north side of the building and the Cubs Field was South west, so we couldn't see it from our unit. Made no difference. We still felt pretty special living so
close to the field. A block away from us was an Italian beef joint. I think I got Kosher hot dogs more often than the beef. And greasy fries. Makes my mouth water just thinking of it. They had that bright green relish for the hot dog, a color that is not found
in nature. Also onion,and celery salt. And bright yellow mustard. There was no place to sit inside this place, so our choices were ,in our car or to sit outside. That was fun when we could watch people walking to the ball game . When it was cold, as it often
was, we ate in the car. Problem, the car then smelled of either Italian beef or Kosher hot dogs. Not a bad smell, as far I was concerned.
