I had two really nice, special things happen to me this week. I heard via messenger from an old friend. She and I ran together for many years and even lived in the same high rise when we sold our home and moved to the city. We both would get up in the
dark, in the cold, in the rain, in the snow and run before she went to work. I watched her start her own successful business. We lost track of each others lives as happens sometimes, but I was so happy to hear from her again. Then I had another experience
that made me feel really good, too. I was leaving a restaurant and a woman called me over to her table. She asked my name. I told her. She said to her friends,"see, this is the woman who wrote that article in the paper". Wow. Someone read my article on Purim.
I was flattered beyond words. These are two very special things that happened to me in just a few days. I am going to save the feeling I get when I think about these exchanges for that day when everything is out of kilter in my life. Right now, everything
is good.
