I was "cultured" yesterday. The Opera Guild in the AM and Jewish Humor in the PM. What a treat the Opera Guild gave us. In about 45 minutes,5 young performers sang beautiful selections from different Operas. I am not an Opera goer, so it was a completely
new experience for me. I am still amazed with the ability of the human voice to produce either such a low range or a high range and ranges in between. Move over Patsy Kline, I may have a new interest. Then there was the Jewish humor. Not always funny and sometimes
funny , sometimes funny when self deprecating, sometimes funny when told by a Jew, but not funny if told by a Gentile. It's complicated. Oy Vey,whatever that means.
