I have heard that stress can age you. Working my way to living to be 100 years old can be a challenge, even under the best of circumstances. I'm going to channel the challenge so I can reach my goal. Everyone should have a goal. Eat, exercise and sleep.
I do all three. So I must be doing something right. Three out of three is a good start. The only hitch is I eat a lot, I exercise too little and I sleep just right for me. No matter my good intentions, I really won't change the eating, the exercise or the
sleep. Food is too good,I love to cook,I love to read about food, I love to have cook books. I intend to exercise more. Taking Cricket out several times a day does not qualify as exercise. If you saw us walking, you would understand. She is so slow that on
occasion, I actually pick her up and carry her home. I see that a neighbor has a stroller for their dog. I'm thinking about that, too. Then there is the sleep part of my equation. I believe in napping. If I don't, I can feel a nap attack coming on. I believe
that napping is right up there with the freedoms we get from our Constitution. I am very lucky that as soon as my head hits the pillow, I am asleep for the whole night, usually. On the times that this doesn't happen, I am made humble, knowing that some people
have routine nights like this. I am taking my challenge of living to be 100 seriously. Anyone want to join me?
