They were invited and they came. And so did the community. So did our congregants. The "they" were the Islamic mosque from Sarasota. It was a peaceful, beautiful Shabbat service. It sent a message to those who stayed, that we are all the children of
the same God.They are people. Individual people, just like us. For the people who walked out of our sanctuary when the Iman spoke , that was their right as an American. It was a lesson in civility. Im sorry that you walked out. But that was your constitutional
right. That is what I will fight for.
