Well, I don't have any Granddaughters to go shopping with, but I have Grandsons to cook with. My visiting Grandson and I went on a cooking frenzy. We started out by going to the fish counter at Detweillers asking for fish skin . Do you know that I could
get head and tails, but they throw away the skins, unless I buy salmon. Which was not what I wanted. So we adapted. Bought one fish for the skin and the rest of my order was the fish of choice. We were making gelfilte fish from a recipe in my new cookbook that
another Grandson had given me while I was in Israel. We made the fish and made a different carrot horseradish recipe form the same CB. (Both really good ).Be careful opening the food processor. The horseradish is volatile). Then we went on to Moroccan meatballs
and Asian meatballs.Plus rice in the rice cooker. We did have to open the kitchen door and also turn on the stove exhaust. My kitchen was literally smoking. Now this was a great, terrific, happy, productive four hours. And I have several meals in the freezer
for another day. Today we are going to try kreplah from the same CB. This is sorta like Jewish won ton for soup. I'll let you know how it turned out.
