My project this year is to practice saying "No". It's working. But then why is my calendar still full. On second glance, the fullness of my calendar is reminders of birthdays, dinners with friends,lessons, family visits to us. That is saying "yes for
all of the right reasons. It is a little ego hard not to be in the middle of everything, but I am getting better about not wanting to know. I hated the expression"been there, done that, " but realistically, there is a right time to go with that thought. I
very much notice that the new kids on the block who said "yes" when asked to volunteer, are doing a really good job. This validates my decision to say that I want to spend more time with me.
