It seems as if everyone I see has a smart phone either in their hand or attached to their ear. When we were waiting at the airport for the arrival of our kids, I watched people give air kisses to their arriving family because the phone attachment was
glued to one side of their head. Even in Israel, the most identifiable "black hat" sect member with beards(the men) had cell phones in use. I watch people walk their dogs , while talking on their cell phones. This can't be healthy for the dog. They need to
be talked to so they can learn. I always talk to Cricket. "Cricket, see the squirrel.? No, over there. Look. You missed it". That's how she learns to be aware of the beauty around her. She is a slow learner and I need to reinforce her learning.I have seen
couples eating at restaurants, smart phone at each place setting, never actually talking to each other, but watching the screen of their cell phone. In our own house, our young Grandson can correct any statement made, by going right to the source, the smart
phone. I know how much a ticket costs for the Sunday basketball game($6,000. court side) and how much Nike shoes cost for each model. (You don't wear them, you save them in the box as an investment. Really.) I feel as if I am almost a part of the 21st century
because I have a smart phone. Now if I could only learn how to answer it when it rings without disconnecting .I'm working on it. Call me.
