I watch and read the terrible destruction of Aleppo. Is my watching and not being able to do anything about it the same as when people knew about the Holocaust and chose to ignore what they saw.? I cringe when I to see a whole people trying to be destroyed.
How do I stop that? I even wondered if i should make an attempt to adopt a child who has been through hell. How can this madness continue. Who will step forward and stop this annihilation. Where are the people who have the power to put an end to the killing.
I don't understand what is wrong when I can sit in my sunny, home and watch the destruction of a culture and a people as it is happening. What is wrong with us?
