ON THE BACK BURNER

Today is Sunday. A regular work and school day in Israel. When do people here have a Brunch. ? Saturday is going to service day and Sunday is a regular day. There is talk about making Sunday a day off, but things don't move that quickly so it may be awhile.I worry about not having a day to have Brunch. Yesterday on our walk, coincided with one of the Synagogues letting out. Not a trace of a women, so I am not sure where they were. But the men walked down the middle of the car less street with their very large Tallit thrown over there shoulder. You got the feeling that you were not in Kansas any more. It was like being in a painting, seeing the men walk together. It could have been 200 years ago that this was happening. The spell was broken by some kids on skate boards whizzing down the cobble stoned street. Kids are kids, no matter where they live.
