ON THE BACK BURNER

This is such an outdoor, cafe type city that when we went to dinner and sat outside, and it was chilly, we were given blankets. Every cafe has a pile of blankets at the door for your comfort. Very thoughtful of the proprietors .Everyone has an ear hooked to their cell phone. Even the most black hatter. Seems incongruous , but there you have it. A funny scene in Sadat as we ate lunch, we could see a man sitting in front of a busy mall, with a bridge table set up. He was asking men if they had put on tiffilin and said their morning prayers. If they put on the Teffilin, he took a picture of them. We decided that he needed to be able to legitally say he was working.I wonder if he thanks God for his living in the age of technology.
