ON THE BACK BURNER

How about lunch in Safat and dinner in Jerusalem. We did that and in between we saw the Jordon Vally, Tiberious, check points where I showed my passport and the Sea of Galilee. I have never seen this country side and I loved it. Brown rolling mountains, not like the mountainsthat I see in Colorado. Then suddenly , there must be a source of water because there are trees. Then instead of corn that we would see in the midwest, there are acres , or meters,of plastic green houses that have bananas, pineapple, and baby palm date trees. Outside in very straight rows are tomatoes, squash, peanuts(we think). Then I was thinking as our grandson drove( very Israeli style) I wanted to see a camel....I saw a village of Bedouins and camels. How absolutely cool is this.

It probably was peanuts. We had a field of them right near us in Israel. Your trip sounds wonderful. Very cool. Can't wait to hear all about it. GInnie
