ON THE BACK BURNER

Cricket got a message on my iPhone. That's a first. It was her groomer reminding her of her appointment. I hope that Cricket doesn't ask for her own smart phone now. Not many people call me on my smarter than me phone. So when I did get a message, I got really excited. I thought it was for me. I have taken a great leap in my knowledge base with my iPhone. I know how to text and respond to messages. I can answer without first disconnecting myself and the best thing is , I can write myself notes and use the calendar. I have arrived in the 21st century. I am almost to the point that I don't have to take the appointment card from the receptionist at the doctors office when scheduling an appointment. When I have more confidence, I will refuse the card. So far, that hasn't happened. But I am close. And wait ! There is more. I put NetFlex on my iPad. I am hoping that I can use it on my flight to Israel. What I really like to do on the plane is watch the little screen in front of me, show the path of the plane.I spend hours watching the little plane icon moving over the landmarks. I'm a cheap date.
