It happens, occasionally, that Cricket has to go out during the middle of the night. She lets me know by throwing herself against the vertical blinds until I hear her and open the slider to let her into the patio. I usually then just leave the door
opened and I go back to bed, closing the door when either Bob or I get up again. This is what happened last night. Cricket is on antibiotics for her tonsillitis and probably had an upset tummy. I'm glad that she has a way of communicating when things aren't
right for her. Back to bed, but before I could fall asleep, I heard a clacking sound and I could see a flash of light like a strobing light somewhere in the condo. Knowing that Bird Bay has a low crime rate, I felt safe that it wasn't a burglar. I got up to
check and heard my printer in the second bedroom, printing away ,the light was coming from the printer. Odd. Not only that ,my desk computers screen was all lit up and even without my glasses I could read, NO INTERNET CONNECTION. In the dark, I fumbled to turn
off the printer, then the computer. While I was at it, I turned off a few more electronic lights. Now the house was quiet and dark , as it should be at 2AM. By this time, Cricket was back in her bed, fast asleep. Lucky her.
