I have my violin back. Today I will play it for the first time in 3 months. It has been taken apart,photographed for reference,cleaned,pieces replaced, new strings,waxed,shined,tuned,tuned again, and tuned again. Now I am ready to play. I'm actually
a little scared to do that. I need to be worthy of my "new" violin. Instead of the Christmas songs that I am practicing, I think that I should start with a classical piece. I have some favorites and I'm not to bad on them. But then again, maybe I should play
the simple tunes and work my way up. On the other hand, I should stop the chatter and just sit down and practice. Here goes......
