The thermostat in our car registered 100 degrees yesterday. I was curious to know if it could go that high. After the AC was on for a few minutes it bottomed out at 92. Then we were home. That's a hot drive. I wonder now, how did we go on road trips
before AC.I remember driving with the windows open . Now we keep them closed because it is 1. too hot and 2. too noisy and 3. we have the luxury of AC. I sometimes feel that I should toughen up and turn it off , open the window and let the breeze in. That
doesn't last long. As a special treat for Cricket, the few times that I take her in the car, the last block before we reach home , is the time that I open the window for her to stick her head out and be a happy dog. After a minute , she has had enough of this
humid, hot air and she's back to sitting where her nose is against the AC vent. I hear that there wouldn't be Florida as we know it, if there were no AC. I believe that for sure. I'm going to make nice to my AC. I want it to know that I really do appreciate
it. Nice AC, nice AC.
