I can only say that I am glad that this rain isn't snow. I still get confused when I look out and the sky is so grey, the trees are swaying and it looks like a snow day. That's what air conditioning does for you. I don't realize until I go outdoors
that the temperature is in the 80's. Cricket has been under the bed for several hours now. I did have her thunder shirt on and that did help. I took it off when we went for a quick walk . I thought that the rain was over. I did buy a few cans that I could
open and eat cold if our electricity went out. My selection of cans has no discernible reason. One can of tomatoes with okra. One can of sardines. One can of baked beans,New England style. I do have some Hershey bars stashed away. There is no way that I can
make an eatable meal from these items.What was I thinking? I have a great storm cookbook. I should have taken it to the grocery store with me.
