I have a song running through my head. I woke up with it in the empty spaces that I have. It is a perfectly lovely song. My Cantor sang it last Friday night at services. Why did it take so long to get stuck in my head. I have no objections to the song.
I even like it, but I only remember two or three lines and that's getting to be too repetitive for my comfort. Then, its words are in Hebrew, not my first language so I know I am just humming what sounds like the words to my slightly deaf ears. I wonder why
songs do sometimes get stuck in your head. Why did that melody pop into my head, even before my feet touched the ground this morning.. It would be sad to think that it took almost a full week from when I heard it to when it popped up. I hope it didn't have
to fight its way through a lot of rubbish to make itself heard.That would really be proof that my brain is over cluttered.
