ON THE BACK BURNER

I am feeling anxiety coming on. I have to meet my daughter at a specific place in the Denver Airport. The airport is BIG. I absolutely go out of my way to avoid JFK and the Atlanta Airport. I may have to put the Denver Airport on my list. I come in at one terminal and my daughter comes in at another terminal. Not gate, but terminal. I went to my Google And found out that there is a moving conveyer that will take me the 20 plus minutes to get from me to her. I have been advised to have my phone charged in case we miss each other. I think that I need to have a GBS chip put in me. Or is it GPS. My sense of direction labels me "challenged". When I go into a department store, I have to come out of the same door or I get confused. In my early days in Chicago, before we moved to Evanston, I had to be told exactly which side of the street to be on for the bus, because I often got on and went south instead of north, the direction that we lived. I blame this defect on being born in New Orleans. We don't use North or South for directions. We say "Uptown" or "down town". In Chicago it was "you live North" or "South", and maybe "West". Never East because then you were standing in Lake Michigan. Wait. I just remembered. I packed a compass. It tells me due North. If I knew where I was going, I could help myself. I'll just ask someone. I'm not proud.

Leona, Dan says when you get to the airport to smoke a join (marijuana), and you won't feel anxious any more !!
