My big fat blue cello has come out for the world to see. Unlike my violin, which is demure, this large instrument is not afraid to be seen as big and bold. Why else would it be so blue. I wonder her history. Who commissioned it. Who played it. I am
not good enough to know if the sound is good. I am afraid to touch the tuning pegs. Maybe it a me from the Sears catalogue. Maybe it played with a Rock Band. It sure did not play in any symphony orchestra that I have ever seen. I could see it playing with
the Boston Pops at their annual 4th of July performance, with fire works at the conclusion. I can now play" Hot Cross Buns "on it. There are four notes and I have mastered them. I will soon turn the page in my do it yourself music book. I can't wait to see
what song is next for me. Maybe "Mary Had a Little Lamb".I don't mind starting out with baby steps.
