ON THE BACK BURNER

I can understand how road rage can happen.Especially if you the rager, are in a hurry, or are stressed. It is that fine line that takes you over the edge. I was driving in the parking lot of a grocery store to park and go to pick up a few things for dinner. I was having company and in a hurry. I got to a stop sign where I was to make a left turn into an aisle. A car was stopped in front of me. I waited for it to make the turn. And waited. And waited. It was probably 2 minutes that I waited. Now a long time, but it was not usual to have someone wait this long to make this turn. Especially since you can only go left and no cars can approach you to cross your path. I waited and the driver made no attempt to indicate that I should go around, or turn on his directional signals,or that he was waiting for anything. I gave a little tap to the horn. Right away, the passenger gave me the finger. And what could have been funny, but now I think it is sad, a little hand of maybe a 4 or 5 year old, put their hand out of the back seat window and gave a little wave. The kid saw the adult put their hand out of the window and do something with their hand and so the child did what it thought it saw, a wave. The the car, to show me it was in control, made the turn one wheel revolution at a time and continued to do this so that I was trapped behind him until I could turn into an aisle. Then gave me the finger again. My thought right then. This guy will probably vote for Trump. Jerk.
