ON THE BACK BURNER

There are several mysteries of life that I need to find the answers to. One is why does my computer tell me that the pass word that I am trying to use is incorrect. Especially since I have a list of my pass words right in front of me. That is the first of many mysteries in my life. Another is why can I weigh myself in the morning, drink a 6 oz. cup of black coffee, no sugar, no milk, and weigh myself again , and I weigh one lb. more. I didn't realize that a cup of coffee was so heavy. And that doesn't include the cup ! I have a few more mysteries that I can't answer. I have met Christian's who can quote passages from the Bible. And tell where they are found. I can't always remember the Torah portions from one week to the next and we do the Torah over again every year. By my age, I should have some recall of say, Exodus 10:15. I don't. But I wish that I could. Then, why hasn't Bob stepped on Cricket when he gets up to go to the bathroom at night. Cricket isn't always in her bed and sometimes sleeps right in Bob's path. I mention this because I stepped on her this morning when I got up at 4 AM. Another mystery for me is why can't I back up in a straight line. I am the world's best parallel parker .That comes from living in a city and not a suburban area where you only have to pull in and out of a parking space at the mall. When I was a kid, I noticed that I couldn't write in a straight line. My writing always projected upwards. Maybe that was the indication that I would never be successful backing out of my driveway in a straight line. I wonder if I colored in the lines ? I don't seem to be able to park inside of the white lines either. I guess there are some questions that just aren't meant to be answered. I can live with that.
