I am knitting three projects at the same time. That doesn't leave time for other pursuits, like reading a book. So I gave up the project that is the most challenging. I don't like to let a challenge do me in, but when I did one section four times, went
to the yarn store for advice and still wasn't happy with what I was doing.. I figured the project was telling me to stop . The pattern won. For now. Maybe I'll tackle it again when I have that one week in Colorado that I am checking the days off until it is
time to be there. I can invision my sitting on the steps of our cabin, watching that beautiful Colorado Sky,which is a different blue then any other place, and knitting. This knitting project is a "mystery" knit. The yarn store sends me email instructions
every Monday evening for one section of this mystery project. I only know that it is a shawl. That I use two skeins of very expensive yarn and that I am having a problem with the second installment of the mystery. I thought that I was a pretty knowledgeable
knitter. I''ve been knitting since I was 9 years old. My first project was a pair of booties. Now that I think back, that was a pretty difficult first project . They were blue and I gave them to Charles.Charles grew up to be a dentist, serve in the military
and come home to die of Agent Orange. He was my first love. I don't think I will make blue booties any more.
