I have been asked to repeat the words I said at our dear friend's funeral.
To come to terms with Lois's death, I came to this conclusion. She was here with us for a reason. Many emails went back and forth between Sisterhood members,
Book Club members,Salon members, and the Skinny Dippers, of which she was a founding, charter member in good standing. I have collected a few of them for the family, because I don't know if you realize what an impact she had on us.I am convinced that Lois
and Chuck choose Venice for their home because Lois was sent to teach us how to live , fully .. She was loyal,compassionate and true to her beliefs. Chuck, thank you for convincing Lois to move to Florida. We all pick our role models. As our lives and we evolve,
those role models can change.I think Lois was sent to us for that reason.Thank you , Lois for being that role model for us. With your graciousness, kindness, humor,and your inquisitive mind, you faced life,you battled for it .Your light will always shine here
in the JCV because we learned from you and we won't disappoint. L'Chaim,Lois, To your life.
