It's going to be Memorial Day in a few weeks and before you know it , the fourth if July is here and then Labor Day. That was a quick summer. I shouldn't try to get three months into one sentences. The whole summer is contained in one sentence. Every
day should be savored. In real time, the days fly by, too . I don't know why that is. You'd think being retired would make days go slower. But it doesn't. I know very few people who think that the days are too long. Every time I start a new month on the calendar
and turn the page to see blank dates, that looks pretty good to me. However, those empty slots don't last long. Some of the slots get filled with doctor appointments but for the most part, the dates are filled with more fun adventures. I read some where that
you should look at your calendar, say for last month and put a colored sticker on the activities that were strictly for you, your fun only. They thought that you would be surprised by how few things on your calendar where only for your personal fun. I don't
think that is true on my calendar . There is a lot that I like to do that is scheduled . I'm going to try and keep it that way.
