ON THE BACK BURNER

I feel so gyped . I don't have a Katuba. How did this oversight happen. A Katuba is a Jewish document, all decorated and lovely that is a contract between the man to his woman. Over the years, if there was something that I didn't want to do, I'd jokingly say,"It's not in my Katuba". But we never had one. I was married in an Orthodox service, so you'd expect that I would . I never wanted one before, but now I do. The 62 almost 63 years that Bob and I have been married were just a trail marriage. Now that we know it will work, we need a Katuba. Our Rabbi said that we could just order one, but I want the whole thing that goes with a wedding. Maybe I will plan a ceremony, or go straight to the party planning. Our youngest child and oldest child can help Bob walk down the aisle. I am laughing so hard at this vision that I have to stop. Two daughters escort me. This time Bob will break the glass on the first try. I hear a light bulb is being used now. Cricket can carry the ring. I promise not to lose it this time. I'm still looking for it, you know.
