Today has a special feeling to it. I was wondering if it was because it was The week end or if it was because most of my neighbors have left for the season and it is very, very quiet here. Cricket and I like to walk in the middle of the street. It seems
that most of the dogs here , do like to walk in the middle of the street . Most of the drivers are understanding and just go around us, with a wave. The people who really don't like to see four dogs along with five humans in the middle of the street are the
bicycle riders. None of our dogs are interested in them, but the riders seem to take offense at us being in the middle of the street. I do understand this. We really should be closer to the curb. We shouldn't take up so much space, but the dogs are so happy
being in a pack and on retractable leashes, that we owners just let them . The dogs have so many rules here. Have to be leashed, have to walk in certain places, have to pick up after them. It's only for a short time and then we do pull them to the curb. They
look so cute all together sniffing each other, checking each other out,wagging tails. Just smile ,bikers, and pedal on. I bet they have cats at home.
