I just learned the whole essence of Motherhood. I learned it in a book called "Stretch Marks". The book is about life, not particularly about being a Mother. The concept that caught my attention was this line of thought. A child can disappoint his parents
because who else can he disappoint and still have unconditional love. It makes such sense. Why didn't I see this years ago when we had four teen age kids living with us.Some of these kids are living with their own kids and I may pass this lesson on to them.
And to think that I learned this in a book. Aren't books great.
