We seldom had our kids sleep in our bed with us. It happen occasionally when one was really sick. But our dogs are a different story. Since we went from big dogs to little ones, they seem to fit nicely on our bed. We had one that was a breed that burrowed
under the covers. He slept all night, under the blankets, at the foot of the bed. WE often forgot he was there and we worried that he would lack oxygen and die, but he popped up every morning, ready to go. Many a night we would have to push a dog off of our
pillows so we could have it for ourselves. Some have slept between us and we would carefully turn over so as not to disturbed them. I can't believe we did that. Cricket has a good system. She jumps on the bed, goes to the end and then jumps off to sleep in
one of her three beds. She will nap with us, but she really likes to sleep alone. So do we, Cricket.
