I'm afraid of cows. I'm also afraid of horses.But I would like to try my hand at chicken farming.They seem harmless. I don't think they bite or kick and I am bigger then they are. I've seen pictures of different kinds of chickens. Some are quite handsome.
And Martha Stewart has chickens that lay colored eggs.I think it is the shell and not the egg that is colored. I'm not an egg person, but it does seem like a fun thing to do. When I was in Israel, the eggs had really bright yellow yolks. I took a picture of
them after I cracked the egg into the fry pan. It was as if that egg was in a magazine ad. It was that yellow. When I was a kid and we got a whole chicken from the Kosher butcher, we often found eggs inside the chicken. That was always amazing. So I truly
can't answer the old question of which came first ,"the chicken or the egg", because in my experience, they are one and the same.
