I think I missed spring. We went right into summer. It was like this in Chicago, too. We would wait for winter to be over. It dragged until that first warm, sunny day. We waited with such anticipation. Then we had that one spring day. Bam ,It was summer.But
I am waiting for the blue Jacaranda tree to be in bloom. That will be my clue. I can see one from my carport. It still hasn't bloomed. I had never seen such a tree before I moved to Florida. Many of the blooming plants here , I was familiar with because of
what I knew from New Orleans. But never a Jacaranda. There are two blooms that I really miss..peonies and lilacs. They look so pretty together ,too.
