I carry my new iPhone proudly. I can play solitaire on it. I can answer the phone. Not usually the first time that it rings, but The kids know to call back a second time. By then , I have the phone in my hand and Unflustered enough to answer. I can
check the weather in 5 states and one foreign country. I have not been able to use my Kindle or get my emails. But right now I don't care. Just to be like everyone else and have this smart phone, gives me such a sense of belonging. I now carry it in a pocket.
Or in my hand, if I really want to impress. That makes me look like I know what I am doing. I fool people into thinking I am more tech savvy than I am. What's that line ? Fake it until you make it. Appearances are everything.
