What can be worse then having company , in Florida, when it is cold, rainy,and windy . The answer, having a husband with a cough heard around the world. Hopefully, modern medicine will cure it, but in the meantime, it is no fun . And not so secretly,
you hope that you don't get what ever he has. It is not like that line in the movie"I'll have what she's having". We have house guests, a grandson and girlfriend. I really hate that expression when the word girlfriend implies a teen ager, at least to me. By
early 20's, girlfriend , with commitments, should have another term. I can't think of one right now, but I'm working on it. "Significant other" is too committed, lady friend sounds ancient. Main squeeze is too casual. This is a work in progress. My neighbors
have offered condolences about our Florida weather and house guests. It's been fine. Our weather is much better then New York's and I have a stuffed refrigerator. It's a win win for us all.
