ON THE BACK BURNER

I have to apologize . I didn't think that I would enjoy it. I only went there because I had to have some activity for my visitors. The weather was sunny, too cool and very windy. Where did we go? To the Big Cat Habitat. I actually enjoyed myself. The cats are huge. I have never been that close , even at a zoo or at a Circus. The show wasn't polished but the patter was tasteful and funny. The admission I at first thought was a lot, but after seeing how the animals are taken in and are given a life time home, I changed my mind. Even local business, like Whole Foods, Lowe's and others give donations. They get no government funding and exist only on contributions. I learned the difference between "animal rights' and animal welfare. The habitat is the later. I had a really nice Sunday afternoon and I wouldn't mind going again. But I wouldn't object to a warmer day.

We have gone there a few times with our children and grandchildren. Thought it was very nice. How long is your daughter with you folks?
